The council proceeded to the appointment of trustees of whom there are nine in all. The method of procedure is for the names to be placed in a hat. The two pulled out first retired, but are eligible for re-election.
The chairman to Mr Dow : would you like to draw the names out? There is no slight of hand trick about this (laughter)
Mr Hazelton: No we have had quite enough of that ( renewed laughter)
The Chairman: No jiggery-pokery about this ( more Laughter)
The names drawn out where those of Mr C H B Croxon and Mr Sowell who were re elected
