WILL of John Croxton of Ramsden Crays 1550

In the name of God Amen. In the year of our lord 1550 the 18th day of January . I John Croxton of Ramsden Crays being sick in body but perfect of memory, do ordain and make this my last will and testament in manor and form following. First I bequeath my soul unto Almighty God and to all the company of heaven and my body to be buried in the parish yard at Crays. Item I give unto the poor boys 20 shillings. Item I give unto my three sons John,, Thomas and Andrew Croxton my house called Closlet that I dwell in and the lands pastures and meadows belonging there to after the decease of my wife and if it happen any of my three sons die or they marry then I will that his bit shall remain to the other of the afore named brothers John Thomas or Andrew then living. Item I give unto Edmond Croxton my son and to his heirs my ----- and the barn and yards belonging there to called Pits and I will he shall pay unto his brother William Croxton 20 shillings of English money. I give unto William and Edmond Croxton my sons my lands and --- that belong to Pit called Wooriddings to be equally divided and parted between them two. Item I give unto Agnes Ehothe my daughter a house saving that, I will that my wife shall dwell in the said house at her avori east and regin she may sparehia. All the residue of my goods not bequeathed I give unto Jane my wife both movable and immovable whom also I make my executrix to perform this my last will and testament. Being witnessed John Love, ?
