WILL of JOHN CROXSON of HAWKSTEAD SUFFOLK 1748
In the name of God Amen .The 12th day of October Anno one thousand seven hundred and forty eight. And in the twenty second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second of Great Britain France and Iorland [sic] King Defender of the Faith. I John Croxson of Hawkstead in the county of Suffolk Yeoman being weak in body but of a perfect mind and memory praised be God, do make and ordain this my last will and testament revoking and making void all wills made by me heretofore, make and ordain this in manner and form following, Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Susan Clarke of Holbrook in the county of Suffolk the sum of one pound and one shilling of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid twelve months after my decease by my executrix hereafter named. Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Boon of Hawkstead in the county of Suffolk the sum of one pound and one shilling of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid twelve months after my decease by my executrix hereafter named. Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Croxson the like sum of one pound and one shilling of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid twelve months after my decease by my executrix hereafter named, And I give and bequeath to my loving wife Susannah Croxson all my goods chattels bills bonds ready money household furniture both within doors and without, and all my substance what kind or quality soever may be in my possession or the possession of any other person or persons wheresoever and whatsoever they be. I give all to my loving wife Susannah Croxson to her and only her use. And I ordain my loving wife Susannah Croxson to be my whole and sole executrix of this my last will and testament and I declare this and only this to be my last will and testament in testimony hereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
