WILL of William Croxton of Havering Atte Bower 1547

In the name of God Amen. The 6th day of January in the year of our Lord God 1547 and the 38th year in the reign of Henry the VIII. I William Croxton of Havering atte Bower in the parish of Havering --- do ordain and make this my last will and testament and firstly I bequeath my soul to Almighty God and my body to be buried. Item I give to the-------. Item I give and bequeath to Reynold Croxton my son 20 shillings to be delivered to paid at such time as he shall accomplish and may to that of 18 years. I give to William Croxton one other of my sons 20 shillings to be paid and delivered unto him at such time as he shall accomplish and may to that of 18 years. Item I give and bequeath unto Mary my daughter 20 shillings to be delivered unto her at such time as she shall accomplish and come to the age of 18 years, and if ----- the aforesaid Reynold to decease at Gods --- before he shall accomplish and come to the age of 18 years then I will that the said William shall have his part so bequeathed. And if it happens that the said William to decease at Gods --- before he accomplish and come to the age of 18 years then I will that the aforesaid Mary my daughter have their said parts so to them bequeathed. And if it before the said time that the said Reynold, William and Mary my children all decease before they accomplish and come to the said age of 18 years, then I will that all their said parts shall be equally divided amongst the rest of my family by the discretion of my executor and overseer hereafter named and be paid. Item I give and bequeath unto my brother's heirs if they live. Item I give and bequeath unto Alice my wife 20 shillings of English money and also 1/10th of my cattle, also I will that my said wife have the rest of my wordily goods being within my house and lands as she doth live herself, sell ------ so that my wife do find unto my said bequests and after fulfilment----- of the duty of the said goods or the ---- thorse according as they shall be indifferently praised. I make and ordain this my present testament and last will staphyne sturbey gentill and willing f-- my --- and then as bequeathed my ( water damage) my duty paid and my funeral paid (water damage) and my overseer have the --- and order them as shall come unto them --- but to these beholse administering and part of my said holdings. Item I will that my said heirs and overseers have the roll and ordaining if all my --- parts
