WILL of William Crosson of Ramsden Bellhouse 1639

In the name of God Amen. The 15th day of April Ano Domini 1639, I William Crosson of Ramsden Bellhouse in the county of Essex, being sick and weak in body but sound and perfect of remembrance laud and praise be given unto to God. Do make ordain and declare this my last will and testament in manor and form following. First I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator and redeemer and my body to the earth the mother of all things were of it made.
Item I give unto Marie my eldest daughter 6/8 and to Marie and Sarah her daughters 6/8 a piece to be paid after my decease by the hands of my executors.
Item I give unto Sarah my daughter 20/- and to her two children 6/8 a piece to be paid after my decease by the hands my executors. Item I give unto Robert Crosson by brother £12 to be paid after my decease by the hands of my executors.
Item I give unto Sarah Ffaming my goddaughter £12 to be paid to her after my decease by the hands of my executor.
Item I give unto my godson Henry Heninton £12 to be paid to him after my decease by the hands of my executors.
Item I give unto Tamsin my daughter 7/4 to be paid to him after my decease by the h ands of my executors.
Item I give unto Ann my wife all my goods and chattels not yet bequeathed if she give ten pounds to be paid to her after my decease by the h ands of my executors. Item I give unto John my son in law 3/4 and any other goods and chattels not yet bequeathed. I give to my executor her after named, also I make my loving wife sole executrix of this my mind and will that her goods and chattels shall be parted part and part like unto my children after her decease. And my loving neighbour John Sawkin to be my overseer with the Parson Jgesive to take the prayers and to be assistant to my executrix and the rest of my children as well in the execution of this my present will in all necessities and affairs whatsoever, in the presence of signed
