WILL of XTOPHER CROXSON of ELY 1729

In the name of God Amen. The twenty forth day of November in the year of our Lord 1729,I Christopher Croxson of Ely St Mary in the Isle of Ely and county of Cambridge. Thatcher, being perfectly sound in mind and memory but sick and weak in body, Thanks be given to almighty God Therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die. Do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say Principally as touching all worldly estate wheresowith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give, devise and dispose of the same in the manner Impromi I give and bequeath Sarah Wilson my dearly beloved daughter the house that is in Broad Lane in Ely aforesaid. Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Wilson and Mary Wilson my Grandchildren son and daughter of Sarah Wilson a Guinea a piece each a month after my decease. Item I give and bequeath Thomas Croxson my well beloved son whom I likewise constitute make and ordain my only and sole executor of this my last will and testament all the rest and residue of my messuage, lands and tenements and all and singular my goods and chattels whatsoever by him freely to be possessed and enjoyed. And I do hereby utterly allow revoke and dismantle all and every other former testaments wills legacies and regards and executors and executrix by me in any way before this time named willed and bequeathed. Verifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness there of I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written Christopher Croxson his mark intended for his name signed sealed published and declared by the said Christopher Croxson as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers John Denilo, Alice Akins her mark Theo King.
